The sneakers you will fill
As a Kids' Club Supervisor, you will build and lead a team of Kids' Club Attendants that provides peace of mind for members by caring for the most important people in their lives while they take care of their health. You curate a safe, fun, nurturing, and interactive environment for children across a wide range of ages.
How you will spend your days
Hiring, training, and developing positive, professional Kids Club Attendants who enjoy children
Crafting Kids' Club schedules to ensure appropriate coverage is available to meet members' needs
Partnering with the Assistant General Manager to provide coaching and performance feedback to the Kids' Club Attendants
Developing and implementing a selection of games and activities appropriate for children
Creating a welcoming area for all members' children that is happy and vibrant
Entertaining children in an interactive way, with utmost focus on their safety and well-being
Maintaining rigorous control of all entry and exit to the space, and of all check-in and check-out processes designed to ensure child safety
Partnering with coworkers to keep the space, equipment, and toys organized and clean
Supervising activities of all children, and ensuring child remains in the Kids' Club at all times
Monitoring children's needs and notifying parents if their involvement is required, e.g. diaper changing
Supervising child behavior and partnering with parents and club management to maximize child safety and engagement
What you bring
A sincere, patient, and loving attitude toward children, and genuine concern for their well-being
Strong knowledge of baby-sitting principles
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of one year of child care experience is preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for children and infants; CPR certification required
Strong ability to make good decisions and use discretion
Flexible availability across week days, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements /Environment
Must be able to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels. The sound of weights clinking, feet flying across treadmills, and the laughter of lives changing can get loud.
Must be able to move frequently through all areas of the Kids' Club. Your day includes continuous engagement and interaction with children, team members, and club members.
Daily duties include lifting toys/equipment/infants, kneeling/crouching, remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, and moving for prolonged periods of time.
Occasionally lift and/or move infants and toddlers up to 25 pounds.
