The Sr. Video Producer of Animator & Motion Design is the lead digital designer for creative original video and digital experiences for Studio24, 24GO and 24Life stories and shares expert creative guidance to the content and production team to create professional and branded digital experiences that serve the end viewer. This role offers expert creative expertise and strategy to develop original signature video creative works that can be utilized across products and programs and develops video/animated graphic designs from ideation to production; designing digital materials and/or animated assets for a variety of branded templates and videos for 24GO, 24Life and 24HF and partner brands. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Branded Video and Creative Digital Design

  • Use creative expertise to develop digital ideas & treatments; engage in creative briefings, brainstorms and reviews, and implement concepts and notes from others.

  • Conceive and create a signature video experience for the 24Life/24HF.

  • Implement design theory and communicate design strategy behind creative executions to partners and leadership.

  • Manage creative works from ideation to completion including all aspects of post-production including editing, compositing, green screen, retouching format conversion, encoding, sound production, sound recording, sound design, compression and mastering;

  • Craft new creative works from branded video footage and UGC content.

  • Create socially relevant, shareable video content for digital platform distribution.

  • Using creative expertise, transform narrative based print assets into original digital video experiences.

  • Transform existing assets from content and production team and convert into unique video assets for use in the business.

  • Research and develop new video design concepts to keep the team up to date on industry changes, new technologies, techniques and trends for video, especially video consumed in health, fitness and wellness and lifestyle.

Animation and Motion Design

  • Ideate, create and develop new brand relevant, professional commercial grade elements for 24Life and 24HF media, content and production and for direct use on digital platforms.

  • Create and develop animation and original creative concepts.

  • Provide original concepts and creative expertise to develop an array of branded design elements including graphical overlays, animated logos, bumpers for use across video projects.

  • Use expert perspective to create motion design signature experience and brand standards and quality control for all designs and deliverables for creative assets.

  • Provide leadership for the post production graphics team regarding design of content creation and development and enhancing projects graphically.

  • Manage across multiple projects to reach assigned deadlines and on budget delivery.

  • Provide expert guidance regarding designs to business partners.

Post Production Process

  • Produce high-quality digital assets across a spectrum of digital, video and social media.

  • Lead the creative works through digital production and post production team to deliver innovative and unique videos, on budget and on time video assets for use across the digital platforms.

  • Manage creative work flow including related post-production tasks including video/audio design, color grading, and motion design

  • Problem solve and offer creative design solutions during post production including expert guidance for on-screen color correction and image crafting.

  • Give expert guidance to the production team as needed from planning, production activities and post production editing and coordination and publication.

  • Produce video files, videos for corporate presentations and brand representation.

  • Develop a professional creative workflow that adds value to existing protocols including expert solutions for file management, naming conventions, produce and maintain digital archives.

Storyboarding Videos and Building Test Concepts

  • Develop new ideas and animated video elements.

  • Storyboard and illustrate concepts by designing and presenting rough layout of video and copy regarding compilations, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

  • Conceive, storyboard and build video projects from start to finish; from initial concept to final files, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts that adhere elevate and demonstrate the brand guidelines

  • Give expert guidance to the content and production and brand leadership teams to create a cohesive and compelling digital brand experience.

  • Guide the production team with valuable creative best practices including design and production processes.

  • Offer strategy around recommended shot lists and production needs to create and capture video concepts for use across a variety of brand touchpoints.

  • Create solutions for design issues and share with the production and content team.

  • Develop new original design concepts, graphics and layouts.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports to the VP Content, Brand & Media, and has no direct reports. Position offers valuable creative expertise and influence other content and production team members, designers, copyrighters, leaders and vendors throughout the creative/production process to maintain the highest level of innovation, creativity and accuracy with regard to branding and product and programming objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to develop creative briefs and instructions, able to provide original creative direction and integrate solutions that execute and implement creative ideas.

  • 3D Modeling/Animation - Proficient in Autodesk 3ds Studio Max.

  • Mastery level experience with Adobe Creative Cloud; well-versed in the use of Adobe Premiere editing software (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator)

  • Motion Graphic Design/Animation -- Proficient in Adobe After Effects.

  • Video/Audio/Photo Editing -- Knowledge and understanding of photography, and film/cinematography.

  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Skilled at creating visual assets, creatively editing, modifying and improving available ones.

  • Skill to create and animate realistic and abstract objects, characters and effects for production assets as main or supplemental roles and integration with motion graphics and video and mix audio.

  • Knowledge and experience in motion design and visual FX.

  • Able to create content, layouts and templates for video production through design, animation and editing of graphics, images, shapes, text, video footage and masks.

  • Capable of designing and completing a full video (including color correction, basic keyframing and animation of graphics, and sound mix) for final delivery.

  • Vast understanding of video and animated formats including compression techniques.

  • Organized and able to work both independently and with a team.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, manage and maintain work processes and procedures.

  • Ability to apply advanced design knowledge, and experience to translate raw materials, data and verbal or written descriptions, into concepts and design layouts.

Associates or Bachelors' degree or its equivalent in Video Production/3d Animation Videography or Video Graphic Design/Art or Motion Graphics/Animation or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years' experience in the video editing and design.

3+ years of industry or related creative process experience combining strategy, content, and message with creative deliverables.
