The Group X Programming & Partnership Manager ensures that our GX Field Team has all the content and tools necessary to build best of class schedules that resonate with our members, scale across our club network and deliver the ROI required for 24 Hour Fitness. This position will perform business process improvement and overall coordination of Group X programming, partner communications, event planning as well as special projects where required. This role will own the primary working relationship with all key content GX partners (Live and Virtual), interacting with both executive level and working level teams. The Group X Programming & Partnership Manager will drive the development of annual marketing and operating plans for each key vendor to deliver on GX and company objectives. Position works directly with Senior Director of Group X Operations, Regional Group X Directors and Group X Operations Manager in support of overall Group X programming and partnership including Corporate and Field teams. Especially critical will be the relationship with 24HF marketing team to ensure we properly execute on the monthly vendor marketing plans and efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES Estimated % of Time Spent
Develop and maintain fitness partnerships (Zumba, Les Mills, Wexer/Virtual, U-Jam, POP, etc.) to create, promote and coordinate engaging events as well as insure a reliable flow of qualified instructors into the system. This includes ownership of ensuring all contractual elements are being adhered to by all parties.
Create, Develop and Deliver an Annual Operation Plan with each key vendor/partner. This plan must include the detailed quarterly strategy for marketing, instructor. recruitment/recognition, joint KPI's to measure success, social strategy as well as any potential new format ideas.
Create plans for national and regional events to drive brand awareness, increase guest traffic, reduce attrition and increase member retention. These plans should allow for the GX field leadership and Club teams to efficiently and effectively activate across all components.
Balance, document, monitor and reconcile the $1.0M education/training budget and making sure there is ROI across all facets of education workshops and trainings held in conjunction with our partners.
Review and evaluate new fitness partnership requests, analyze its viability at 24HF, and provide recommendations to Leadership. This role is the first entry point and gate keeper for any outside vendor looking to deliver programming in our studios.
Partner with Marketing to develop communications related to special events, projects and partnerships: GXI newsletter, education & training, My24 GX Landing Page and other communications as assigned.
Collaborate with the social media team to develop targeted strategies & vehicles to allow for our instructors and GX leaders to leverage their social engagement with each other and with members across all viable channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).
Reporting & Administration
Utilize data analytics, customer feedback and industry insight to support the development and assessment of new Group X programs.
Review key partner programs and resources as outlined in individual contracts and provide plans for continuous improvement.
Monitor fitness partnership contracts and ensure the adherence to said contracts by all parties.
Own running the renewal process for the Sr. Director of GX Operations.
Coordinate our charitable event strategy along with other key members of GX Leadership (Ex: Toys for Tots over the Holidays, October Zumba Party in Pink).
Work closely with GX Operations Manager to properly evaluate success of (KPIs) Group X Programs, Partnerships and Special Events/Projects.
The Group X Programming & Partnership Manager reports to the Senior Director of Group X. The position is expected to be able to interact with all levels of management and staff both within Corporate and Field offices and in the clubs. As the liaison and representative of 24 Hour Fitness, the position will be responsible for coordinating relationships with external vendors and information providers.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years in a functional manager/project management role in a complex business environment
Prior experience managing multiple, parallel projects
Minimum of 1 year of management experience in Group X or Fitness related field
Experience managing product implementation process
Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions
Must be able to sit and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work extended hours on occasion.
Regularly required to work standard office equipment (personal computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc.)
- Travel Requirement by air on occasion (25% of the time)
