JOB SUMMARY

The Treasury Operations Analyst manages the day-to-day, monthly, and annual cash management and cash analysis functions for the company. This position creates reporting and analysis for the Treasury Operations team and Finance leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Estimated % of Time Spent

  1. Daily Cash Management and Analysis (50%)
  • Manage previous day cash inflows/outflow, project current day cash position and forecast remainder of month by day. Assist with the preparation of monthly cash forecast for next 12 months

  • Conduct cash concentration from all banks to primary operating bank.

  • Execute domestic and international electronic cash transfers (wires/ACH). Obtain proper approval for all wire/ACH transactions and maintain a central file of all transfers and approvals.

  • Complete monthly reconciliation of wire/ACH activity, and report to Accounting Department.

  • Review and transmit daily Accounts Payable Payment Manager Files.

  1. Cash Analysis and Compliance (20%)
  • Review and maintain daily and monthly SOX controls for Treasury.

  • Contribute to special projects.

  • Deliver recommendations for process improvements.

  • Perform financial and cash analysis.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Treasury Metrics for senior management.

  1. Manage Accounts Payable Control Program (20%)
  • Manage the organization's AP Control Program.

  • Work with Accounts Payable to onboard new vendors.

  • Perform spend analysis.

  1. Investment/Borrowing (10%)
  • Invest excess cash balances daily within approved investment guidelines.

  • Determine daily and monthly cash deficits and execute the organization's daily and monthly borrowing/redemptions of funds within approved guidelines.

The Treasury Operations Analyst regularly interacts with senior levels of management, all levels of accounting professionals, processing groups, and IT Department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Prior Treasury, cash management experience.

  • Prior electronic payment processing experience.

  • Intermediate accounting skills.

  • Ability to work under strict daily and monthly deadlines.

  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills.

  • Multi-Task oriented.

  • Excellent Communication Skills.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Accounting or Treasury experience.

Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions

  • Work is performed in a standard office environment without unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Work entails typical physical demands involved in office work.

  • Regularly required to work standard office equipment (personal computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).

  • Ability to work on a computer for up to 7 hours a day.

  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk.

  • Close vision required for computer usage.

  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 20 pounds.

Travel Requirement

  • Very limited travel to some conference attendance during the year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Level/Certifications

  • Masters' degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Preferred Work Experience and Qualification

  • 2+ years of increasingly responsible professional-level planning or staff work, preferably previous experience as an Analyst.
