A Senior Engineer delivers high-quality work with minimal oversight and direction. They work within an area of domain expertise and are effective in breaking down larger problems into smaller ones. They share regularly what they learn with others within their projects and in the broader Build community. A Senior Data Engineer defines and estimates data engineering stories for a given solution. They have a strong understanding of the architecture and development complexities that enable them to maximize development velocity.

Support design, development, coding, testing and documenting architectures and applications * Work closely with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure design/architecture/deliverables support the business requirements and align with best-practices * Design data models for optimal storage and retrieval and to meet critical product and business requirements.
Key Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience working on ETL, data modeling, business intelligence architecture
Demonstrate expertise in data modeling, database maintenance, monitoring and performance tuning on SQL Server, MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Experience building self-service reporting solutions using business intelligence software (e.g., OBIEE, Tableau, Amazon Quicksight, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
