FULL-TIME Full-time



DevOps engineers are the jacks-of-all-trades of the engineering team, responsible for streamlining and facilitating the intersection of automation, deployment, operations, and site reliability at scale. As a Senior DevOps engineer you will be instrumental in building, deploying, maintaining and automating our software development pipeline from source control through production. The ideal candidate will have a broad base of experience working with operations as a developer, or with development as an operations professional.



  • Act as an expert and advocate for the importance of tools and services at the intersection of development and operations.

  • Design and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines, test automation, application performance monitoring, and automated recovery solutions.

  • Develop automated solutions and tools to support the business and IT staff 50


  • Work with various engineering teams to provide advanced troubleshooting for complex high availability enterprise Linux systems.

  • Support continuous integration/delivery, test automation and application performance monitoring.

  • Develop systems documentation to include enterprise systems guides, work flow, entity and state diagrams.

  • Develop and enforce engineering standards and best practices. 25

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Expert level Linux expertise (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora)

  • Solid understanding of configuration management tools and version control software (Chef, Git, SVN).

  • Solid understanding of build automation systems (Bamboo, Jenkins).

  • Significant experience with AWS, GCP, Azure and/or other cloud services.

  • Proficiency in specialized technology solution sets that encompass Java, LAMP and Linux based enterprise systems.

  • Experience with deploying/managing enterprise-scale applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • J2EE Application Server experience and expertise to include a clear understanding of J2EE software architecture and standards and how it relates to the J2EE Application Server (JBoss, Tomcat, Springboot).

  • Configuring and managed load balanced and high availability environments (F5, NginX).

  • Application benchmarking (Performance Engineering) and monitoring (Dynatrace, Solarwinds, Apps Manager).

  • Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting availability, performance, network, operating system, J2EE application server, database and application issues.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in performing root cause analysis activities in support of problem management efforts.

  • Proficiency developing, maintaining and reverse engineering scripts and utilities written in interpreted or compiled languages such as Ruby, PERL, Python, various shell scripts, JavaScript, and Java.

  • Relational Database Management Systems knowledge and experience (MySQL, Oracle).

  • Knowledge of Enterprise IT standards and practices (e.g. ITIL, Incident and Problem Management etc.).

  • Knowledge and experience working with Information Security teams and auditors to achieve compliance with regulatory and internal initiatives (e.g. PCI, SOX).

  • Willingness to tackle any challenge, even if not directly relevant to core competencies.

  • Knowledge and experience of software processes and SDLC concepts.

  • Knowledge and experience with scrum and agile principals.

Minimum Educational Level/Certifications

Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications

5+ years of Unix systems engineering

5+ years of cloud platform experience. AWS, GCP, Azure

5+ years of J2EE systems engineering

5+ years in progressive IT support organizations

2+ years of build and release management experience

1+ years of Information security experience

Advanced scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl or equivalent)

Experience with n-tier distributed architectures

Experience with complex web services based framework architectures

Deep knowledge of networking concepts (layers 1-7)

Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions

This position requires repetitive use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reaching with the hands and arms; standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Travel Requirement

Occasion travel is required to other company sites, professional development training and vendor sites.
